WHAT THE "C"-CLUB HAS DONE
Since 2008 the Cheyney "C"-Club has raised over $70,000 for the University's Athletic Department, which have supported the following areas:
- Purchased Advertisement in the departments main Advertisement Booklets (Athletic Banquet, Hall of Fame Banquet, and the Football Program).
- Upgraded the Men and Women's basketball and football locker rooms.
(The upgrades included new lockers, wall to wall carpet, and custom paint)
- Assisted with expenses related to the successful recruitment and hiring of our new Women's Basketball Coach.
- Contributed to the expenses incurred by our coaches on recruiting trips.
- Purchased Advertisement for the 2008 Cheyney vs. Kutztown football game that was televised on Cable Channel 29 during that season.
- Contributed to a portion of the costs associated with the 2009 Senior Letterman Jackets.
- Purchased a table during the 2008 Athletic Banquet.
- Sponsored a free Membership Drive kickoff reception for potential "C"-Club Members during a recent Men and Women's Doubleheader Basketball Game.
These are just a few of the items that the "C"-Club has been able to assist the Athletic Department with in the past. Our goal is to increase our giving and support as our membership grows.
